Lynda Marie Moore
Lynda Marie Moore, 61, Topeka, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at Lexington Park Nursing Center under the care of Heart of America Hospice.
She was born Aug. 20, 1946 in Enid, Oklahoma. She was raised in Burlingame, where she graduated from high school in 1964. She lived in Osage City for over 25 years until moving to New Jersey in 1999, and then to Topeka in April, 2008.
Survivors include two daughters, Stacy Moore and Vicki Colbert, both of Topeka; a son, Duane "Butch" Lee Moore, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Emporia; a brother, Ron Miles and wife, Fran of Aurora, IL; six grandchildren, Colin II and Adriana Colbert, Ethan and Cayden Moore, Nikki Rice, and Alyssa Cox; and close family friends, Alanna Weber and Colin Colbert.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Moore and her ex-husband, Duane "Butch" Moore, Sr.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
