M. Wayne Sifferman

M. Wayne Sifferman, 96, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at a Topeka care facility. He was born June 30, 1926 in Bois D'Arc, Missouri, the son of Lewis D. and Nellie F. (Biellier) Sifferman.
Wayne graduated from Republic High School in Republic, Missouri in 1944. He was an Army Veteran, serving during WWII. He was employed by KCI Airport for 20 years before retiring. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion and the Locksmith Association.
Wayne married Eileen McQuaide on December 18, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri. She preceded him in death on August 16, 2021. He was also preceded in death by four siblings.
Survivors include one daughter Gail Beale of Topeka, four grandchildren, Brett (Luke) Bauer, Kaytee (Jeff) Beaver, Matthew Beale and Nellie Beale and four great-grandchildren, Miles Bauer, Pera Bauer, Addison Beaver and Aiden Beaver. Also surviving is his brother, Norris Sifferman.
A private Celebration of Wayne's Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to TARC, 2701 SW Randolph St., Topeka, Kansas 66611.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
