Mack C. Hubbard

Mack C. Hubbard, 83, of Topeka, went to be with his Lord on Monday, January 10, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. He was born September 1, 1938 in De Kalb, Texas, the son of Marquez and Bessie (Runnels) Hubbard.
Mack attended De Kalb public schools. He was employed by Seymore Foods and later Stokely-VanKamp. He attended New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Mack married Wilma J. Whetstone on July 6, 1960 in Daingerfield, Texas. She survives. Other survivors include children, Joyce R. (David) Banks of Topeka, Mackael W. (Lisa) Hubbard of Topeka, Ronda K. Hubbard of Topeka, Joseph M. (Tracy) Hubbard of Topeka, Bessie M. (Scott) Winn of Topeka, thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and his siblings, Netra (Billy) Heath of Dallas, Texas, Hilbert (Flora) Hubbard of New Boston, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mack was preceded in death by his siblings, Lottie Davis, Leslie Johnson and Joe Hubbard.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Topeka Cemetery. The family requests that those attending the service wear a mask.
