Madison "Maddie" Naill, 15, Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident.
Maddie was born June 17, 1996 in Topeka, the daughter of Eric and Lori (Miller) Naill. She was a sophomore at Washburn Rural High School where she played soccer.
She was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church and Susanna Wesley United Methodist Church. She participated in softball, basketball, Girl Scouts, Club Soccer and danced at Dance Factory.
Survivors include parents, Lori and Mark Neddermeyer, Topeka, Eric and Jenny Naill, Topeka; sister, Allie Naill; brother, Jesse Naill; both of Topeka; grandparents, Shirley Naill, Wichita, Bruce and Ginny Miller, Topeka, Ed and Joyce Alberg, Topeka, Allan and Marjorie Neddermeyer, Charter Oak, IA; great-grandmother, Laura Langholdt, Ricketts, IA; step-brothers, Cale and Braden Neddermeyer, Topeka; aunts, Lisa Miller, Topeka, Stephanie "Indigo" Sutra, Colville, WA, Darian Morgan, Queen Creek, AZ, Bethany Mallory and Sheri Neddermeyer, both of Charter Oak, IA; and uncles, Tom Alberg, New York, NY, Ted Mallory, Charter Oak, IA, Mike Morgan, Queen Creek, AZ, Michael "Three Apples" White, Colville, WA. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Naill; and uncle, Cory Neddermeyer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Countryside United Methodist Church, 3221 SW Burlingame Rd, Topeka. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Maddie will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road and visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
