Marcia Elaine Mesler, 79, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018.
She was born July 27, 1938, in Norris, Missouri, the daughter of Marshall Blue and Edith Valentine (Streight) Anderson. She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Marcia was employed by Walmart in Topeka for 37 years, retiring in October 2017.
Marcia married Richard Ronald Dalton on June 3, 1956. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1976. She married Gary R. Mesler on September 14, 1979. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Karen (Jack) Schulte, Independence, MO; a son, Kendall (Bonnie) Dalton, Calhoun, MO; six grandchildren, Melissa Oliva, Jaris (Heather) Schulte, James (Miranda) Dalton, Jeremy (Amanda) Dalton, Tyler Dalton, Jaren (Keri) Dalton; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings, Betty Jo Wilson, Bill Anderson, Barry Anderson and Wanda Gill
Marcia enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, gardening, fishing, camping, boating, shopping and loved people.
Honoring Marcia's request, cremation is planned. Private family services will be at a later date. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
