Margaret Emma Albright, 92, of Overbrook, KS passed away Thurs., July 3, 2008, at Brookside Manor.
Margaret was born June 5, 1916, in Overbrook, to Carl and Mamie (Cann) Coffman.
Margaret married Ernest Albright on Dec. 24, 1938, in Overbrook, KS. He preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1994.
She attended both Kansas State and Washburn University, obtaining her Master's Degree in Education. Margaret was a primary school teacher in Overbrook and Topeka, retiring after 30 years of service.
Margaret was a member of the Overbrook United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha (Jim) Jolly; Mary (Larry) Schwartz, both of Overbrook; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildern.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Coffman, Jr. and a great granddaughter, Annalisa Schwartz.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, at Overbrook Cemetery. Margaret will lie in state, Sunday, July 6, between 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overbrook United Methodist Church, c/o First Security Bank, 312 Maple, Overbrook, KS 66524.
