Margaret J. Robinson, 85, of Topeka, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010.
She was born December 8, 1924 in Logansport, IN, the daughter of Orley and Edith (Meyers) Guthrie.
She was a graduate of Topeka High School and attended Washburn University.
She was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, for 37 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Topeka.
Margaret was married to Marvin L. Miller for 17 years. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1965. She was married to Charles H. Robinson for 37 years. He preceded her in death in October of 2009. Survivors include her children, Marva Wood, Stephen (Janice) Miller, Michael Miller all of Topeka; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Delbert and Bob Guthrie; and 9 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Miller in April of 1964, a sister, Betty Bush and a brother, Cyrus Guthrie.
Honoring her request, cremation is planned. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 9, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW 37th St., Topeka. Inurnment will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka.
