Margaret Arleen Dedrick Smith, 92, Topeka, passed away Feb. 28, 2012. She was born July 16, 1919 at Wichita, KS to Cyril C. and Eula B.(Sowell) Dedrick. She married Herman Rea "Smitty" Smith on Dec. 18, 1940 at Topeka, KS and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Helena) Meyer, of Valley Center, KS; 5 grandchildren, Rick (Tamora) Davey, Randy (Grace) Davey, Rob (Keri) Davey, Ronnie (Jeff) Meyer, Christine (Ron) Woods; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Ann Best.
She was preceded by her husband, a daughter, Margaret Davey, and one granddaughter, Carol Meyer. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting with the cremation. A private service will be held at a later date.
