Margaret Wallace

Margaret A. "Bonnie" Wallace, 58, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at a Topeka hospital. She was born on October 11, 1950 in Renton, WA, the daughter of Frank and Margaret Bartlett. She was raised in Seattle, WA and graduated from high school there. She moved to Kansas in 1969 and has resided in Topeka since 1971. Bonnie married Randy Hodges in February of 1970. They were divorced. She married Roy Wallace in November of 1975. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Jill Hodges, Kristi Hodges, Brandy Wallace, three step-daughters, Elizabeth Root, Tina Riggles, Pam Hoover and two step-sons, Roy Hartman, Gerald Hartman and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had many others whom considered her to be a mother or grandmother. She was a very loving person and always placed others before herself. Bonnie was preceded in death by one daughter, Merrilee Hodges in January of 1988. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Mount Hope Mausoleum Chapel. Inurnment will follow. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kansas Dialysis Service, Mulvane Medical Plaza, 634 S.W. Mulvane St., Ste. 300, Topeka, KS 66606. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
