Marguerite L. Nussbaum
Marguerite L. Nussbaum, 80, Topeka, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Midland Hospice House of cancer.
She was born April 12, 1926 in Omaha, Nebraska. She came to Topeka in 1963. She graduated from Creighton University, Omaha, in 1947.
Mrs. Nussbaum taught school in Boston for a while, as a civilian at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, and later for Penney Power, KNI, and Stormont-Vail Hospital for several years.
She married Virgil Nussbaum in November,1953. He died Nov. 16, 2003.
Survivors include her son, Nick Nussbaum, Topeka; two grandsons; several nephews, her step-mother, and by Vivian Nix.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church with interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
She will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church
