Marian H. Cope, 93, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at a Topeka hosptial. She was born on April 24, 1914 in Topeka, the daughter of Frank and Sophia Dravis Buchheim. She graduated from Highland Park High School. After graduating, she became a telephone operator for the Watson community. She later became an Avon Sales Representative for many years and recevied her 25 year pin. She was member of the Tecumseh United Methodist Church and the Highland Park United Methodist Church. Marian married Harold C. Cope. He preceded her in death on June 5, 1972. She was also precedeed in death by one daughter, Joyce Cope on November 30, 1998. Survivors include one son, Kenneth C. Cope of Topeka, one niece, Shirley Ray of Topeka and one nephew, Donald Bellman of Oklahoma. Committal services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday on the Garden Chapel at Topeka Cemetery. Burial will follow. Marian will lie in state from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
