Marilyn J. Balandran, 64, Topeka, went to be with her Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, May 29, 2011.
She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 21, 1947 to Anthony and Ailsa (Christesen) Mirowski.
She graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Clark's Business School. She was employed as an administrative assistant by J. F. Glen beginning in 1983. She remained with Century United when they purchased the business in 1990 until the first of this year for a total of 28 years.
She is survived by her husband, Anthony; one son, Chad Reusch, Topeka; one step-daughter, Laurie Kemrer, Shermansdale, PA; 4 grandchildren, Cory and Caleb Reusch, Elizabeth and Jessica Kemrer; 1 sister, Joanie Tilton, Hoyt, KS ; 2 brothers, James Mirowski, Ft. Colins, CO, and Randy Mirowski, Winsor, CO.
A memorial service will be held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society of Topeka, 2625 NW Rochester Rd. Topeka, Kansas 66617.
