Marilyn Elizabeth Cartmill Lovelace, 62, went peacefully to be with the Lord at her home in Berryton, Kansas on September 27, 2012. She was born November 21, 1949 in Scott City, Kansas to Raymond & Evelyn Hartman Cartmill, spending her school years in and graduating from Dighton, Kansas High School in 1967. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Kansas in 1971.
Marilyn married Bill Lovelace in 1970. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Jacinda Lovelace, Berryton; 2 brothers: Deverne (Billie) Cartmill, Garden City, and Howard (Gina) Cartmill, Dighton; 3 sisters: Margaret Cartmill, Moundridge; Harriet (Jim) Vance, Dighton; Marcia (R. Alan MD) Snodgrass, Jetmore; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.
A private celebration of life memorial is planned. Cremation has taken place and casting of ashes will be at a later date.
