Marilyn Kay (Miller) Reece, 70, Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017.
She was born August 2, 1946, in Barstow, California, the daughter of Walter and Martha (Sinclair) Miller.
She attended Highland Park Schools and was a past member of Highland Park Church of the Nazarene.
Marilyn married Arthur C. Reece on December 7, 1963 in Topeka. They later divorced. Survivors include their children, Barbara Allen, Arthur Reece, Kenneth Reece, Tammy Miller, Martha Reece, Steve Ellis all of Topeka, Chad Russell, Raytown, MO; siblings, Lynn Rodriquez, Wally Miller, Dale Miller, Ruth Lenz and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wayne Reece and daughter, Denise Smith Crumpton, three sisters, a brother, Wayne Miller and her parents.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at Foster Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
