Marilyn Kay Schroeder

Marilyn Kay Schroeder, 87, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 5th, 2022.
She was born October 26th, 1934 in Ellinwood Kansas, the daughter of George and Ella Heim.
She received a Master's Degree in Education from The University of Kansas. Marilyn taught at the primary, secondary, and collegiate levels, but spent the majority of her career teaching in the secondary level.
Marilyn married Richard Schroeder, of Ellinwood,KS but later divorced.
She is survived by three children, David Schroeder, Daniel Schroeder, Katherine Geeding, and daughter-in-law Marcie Schroeder; grandchildren, Christa Hagerman, Daniel Jameson, Tena Geeding, Laura Geeding, Cameron Geeding and Erica Schroeder.
Marilyn was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Schroeder (2002), a daughter, Emily Jane Schroeder (2008) ex-husband, Richard Schroeder; and her sister Louise Brock Hamilton.
A memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 4775 SW 21st St, Topeka, KS 66604, at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 18th.
