Marjorie "Marge" E. Bryer, 58, of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, October 29, 2006, at her home.
She was born February 18, 1948, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Olaf and Marjorie Palm.
Marge was a caring mother and graced her family and friends with her talents in art, crafts, and sewing. She was a devoted member of Brookwood Covenant Church.
Survivors include her son, Carleton Bryer, Topeka; her sister, Louise Kramer and her husband Marvin, Topeka; her brother, Theodore Palm, Denver, CO; two nieces, Dr. Elizabeth Kramer, Carrollton, GA, and Susan Smith and her husband Jed, Littleton, CO; and her former husband Joseph Bryer, Topeka.
She will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home, 4020 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, where the family will greet friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday and again Friday morning from 10 to 11:00 a.m. followed by graveside services at 11:30 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery at 6th and Gage. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Brookwood Covenant Church, 3601 S.W. 33rd St., Topeka.
