Marjorie L. Jackson, 87, Topeka, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Plaza West Regional Health Center, Topeka, KS.

Marjorie was born August 23, 1918 in Frontenac, KS, the daughter of Frederick and Mary (Coillot) Dittmann.

She graduated from Frentenac High School. Marjorie had formerly lived in Coffeyville, KS, Austin, TX, Akron, OH, and Cumberland, MD, before returning to Topeka in 1989.

She married Kenneth Jackson November 28, 1940 in Joplin, MO. Marjorie was a housewife and a member of the Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth on May 29, 1989, and earlier by her brother, Jacob Dittmann. Survivors include: two sons, Eric Jackson, Topeka, and Randy Jackson, Bunker Hill, WV; two daughters, Liz Polk, Roslyn, PA, and Carrie Cundiff, Merriam, KS; a sister, Dorothy Mendicki, Frontenac, KS; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mrs. Jackson was cremated. Private inurnment services will be held at a later date.

Newcomer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
