Marjorie M.(Carlson) Eaton

Marjorie M. (Carlson) Eaton, 86, died Thursday, October 20, 2016. She was born March 1, 1930, the daughter of Gust and Ruth (Olson) Carlson.
Marge was a 1948 graduate of Topeka High School and had worked a number of years as an administrative assistant to the manager of the Holiday Inn at 10th and Madison. On September 6, 1952, she married Jerry F. Eaton. He survives.
Other survivors include daughters, Susan Eaton (Curt Shaw) and Julie Eaton; sister, Shirley Standish; grandchildren, Cody (Debbie) and John (Jessica) Beatty, and Traci Stephens (Lonnie Woods); and great-grandchildren, Kayleen Shaw, Anistasia and Nathanial Beatty, Ashley and Carissa Miller, David Beatty, and Carley Woods.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 27, 2016, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66606, where the family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. Private burial of the cremated remains will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care or the organization of the donor's choice.
