Marjorie Vigneron

Marjorie Charlene "Marge" Vigneron, 83 of Topeka passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Presbyterian Manor. She was born on June 6, 1926 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Lester E. and Erma B. (Thompson) Reiber.
Marge graduated from Topeka High in 1944. She married Vernon L. Hutton on August 12, 1944, together they had one daughter, Carole Ann. They later divorced. On May 8, 1948 she married John H. Vigneron in Coffeyville, Kansas. They were married for 54 years and had two children, Marius Jon and Michelle Marie. Marge was a membership secretary for Kansas Association of Commerce and Industry where she retired in 1985 after 17 years of service. She was a member of Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene, a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Arab Shrine Nobelles.
Marge is survived by her daughters, Carole Ann Greene and Michelle Marie Young both of Topeka; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John, son Marius and grandson Brett Michael Greene.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in the Topeka Cemetery. Marge will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. on Sunday with the family receiving friends 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. all at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
