Mark M. Caccia, 62, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
He was born November 19, 1958, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, the son of Richard Joseph and Josephine (Barto) Caccia.
Mark graduated from Lake Lehman High School in 1976, where he played the trumpet in the school band and was a member of the magic club. He had become a well-known magician in the Wyoming Valley area.
Mark served in the United States Army. He worked as a chef and did a tour in Korea. He completed his career working for the VA in Leavenworth, KS.
Mark enjoyed taking his mother for rides and treating her to ice cream and movies. He especially loved his family and was a friend to many. Most importantly Mark loved his Lord and Savior.
Survivors include his brothers, David (Jeanne) Caccia of Kansas City, KS and Richard (Pat) Caccia of Fincastle, VA; his nephews, David Caccia, Jr. of Cottonwood, AZ and Nick Whalen of Kansas City, KS and a great niece, Jenna Caccia.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gerald Gossart.
Honoring Mark's request, cremation is planned. No services are scheduled at this time. Interment of Mark's cremated remains will take place at a later date. Dove Cremations and Funerals – Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS is assisting the family.
