Mark Edwin Booth died Sept. 24, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was born Aug. 26, 1949 in Manhattan, Kansas the son of Ray and Barbara (Drayer) Booth. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Booth. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Booth; former wife, Wendy Booth; his children, Spencer, Aaron, Adam, Velder, Thomas, Stevie and Jonathan; his sister Jenna (David) Carver; his brother Evan Booth; nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Mark grew up in Clay Center, Kansas and attended Clay County Community High School. He served in the army as a Green Beret in Panama during the Viet Nam War. He was employed as a furniture refinisher. Mark received further education in the areas of food management and counseling. He was a resident of Briarcliff Care Facility in Topeka and enjoyed music, carving and writing poetry.
