April 14, 1955 — July 11, 2017

Mark Lee Kraemer, 62, died Tuesday July 11th, 2017 at his home at 3561 SW 35th Terrace following a long battle with colon cancer.

Mark is survived by his boy Brian Kraemer and his ex-wife Beth Metzger, 2 granddaughters Halie Kraemer, and Kaylee Johnson, his sister Cheryl Crawford and her 2 children Ande Davis, Anthony Davis and their children, his brothers Steven Kraemer with son Aaron Kraemer, Kelly Kraemer, and his late brother Kenneth Kraemer.

Mark is a veteran of the Vietnam War era; he was a medic in Delta Company 1st Infantry Medical Battalion. He was born on April 14, 1955 in Moses Lake, Washington, the son of Marilyn and Lyle Kraemer. Mark graduated from Topeka High School, and lived in Phoenix, Arizona and worked in California for a few years until he decided to join the US Army in 1976. After his discharge from the military, Mark worked at the VA Hospital where he met his wife Beth Metzger. Soon after, he was hired onto the US Postal Service in 1984, where he worked for 27 years and later retired in late 2010. Mark was a man of few words, but the words he did speak, carried great meaning and wisdom. He had a few close friends, and many people who cared for him. He loved his family and he was respected and cared by his community and friends. He will be dearly missed.

Services will be held this Thursday the 20th of July, at 1 PM at Dove Cremation and Funeral Services at 4020 SW 6th ST. All are welcome.
