Mark W. Addington, 58, of Topeka, passed away March 17, 2015 at Stormont Vail after an accident. He was born May 1, 1956, in Topeka to Joan Addington and the late Cal C. Addington.
Mark worked for the Tecumseh Fire Department, Medevac MidAmerica and AMR. He was in the emergency service field for 25 years and he owned Eastboro Liquor before going into construction.
Mark is survived by his significant other, Di Anna Little of the home; his mother, Joan Addington of Topeka; sister, Sharon Netherton (Michael) of Kansas City, Missouri; brothers, Matt Addington of Kansas City, Kansas and John Addington of Topeka; his beloved daughters, Laura Woodard (Joey) and Becky Addington; his extended family, Steven Little, Mary Markos, Steffanie Markham and Travis Kiivitter, Frank and Mary Coyle and Rex Maxwell. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, Shelbi, Megan, Skyler, Lucas, Luke, Caitlyn, Joey, Ethan, D.J., Bella, Olivia, Hannah and Taylor. He was an uncle to Kaity, Caleb and Mark. Mark also loved his dogs, Bo, Dutch, Tinsel, Taz and Quigley.
Mark was a member of the Silver Lake Lion's Club. Memorial contributions may be made in Mark's name to the Silver Lake Lion's Club, P.O. Box 366, Silver Lake, KS 66539 or St. David's Episcopal Church, 3916 SW 17th Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. David's Episcopal Church.
