Marline May Crouch, 74, of Topeka, formerly of Ashland, NE, entered into peace in the comfort of her home on Saturday, February 2, 2013 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born December 7, 1938 in Wagner, S.D., the daughter of Donald and Violet (Broderson) Picotte.
Marline loved her flowers, gardening, watching wildlife from her swing, and going to the casinos.
She is survived by her children, Verna Lawrence (Dale), Michael Crouch (Amy), Jerald Crouch (Kristi), all of Ashland, NE, and Charollet Danner of Topeka; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, CarolJean, Joyce, Dianna, and Sandra; brother, Don "Hoss" Picotte, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. Marline is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vern; son, Daniel; and brother, Herbert.
Per her wishes, Marline was cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, February 7th at the Santa Fe Place Apartments, 2nd Floor Dining Room, 6th & Madison in Topeka. A second celebration will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10th at The American Legion, Post 129, 1541 Silver Street in Ashland, NE.
