Marsha G. Miller

Marsha G. (Montague) Miller, 66, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015. She was born March 30, 1949, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Benjamin Montague and Frances (Vawter) Mapes. She was raised in Topeka and graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Cherry Creek, CO in 1967.

Marsha was previously employed by the Kansas Neurological Institute and in multiple caregiver and customer care positions for over 40 years.

Marsha married Paul E. Miller in 1970 at Topeka. They later divorced. Survivors include her children, Doug Miller (Karlita), Verdana Toyekoyah, Jason Miller and Gary Miller; mother, Frances E. Mapes (Delbert); siblings, Marie Victor, Barbara Shannon, Judy Mannarino, David and Darrell Montague.

She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Montague; sister, Velma Faye (Montague) Gaither; brothers, Gary Dean and Ben Montague.

Marsha was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 S.W. 6th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
