Martha Christina Isaacs, 90, Topeka, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003 at Aldersgate Village.
She was born Aug. 20, 1913 in Topeka, the daughter of William and Margaret Bauer Stach. She attended Lutheran Elementary School and graduated from Topeka High School.
Mrs. Isaacs worked as a secretary at the Topeka VA Hospital for 21 years before retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Topeka Travel Club, and the National Assn. of Retired Federal Employees.
She married James W. Isaacs on Aug. 7, 1943. He died Sept. 26, 1958.
Services will be 10:00 am Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Topeka Cemetery.
