Martin L. Coffman

Martin L. "Marty" Coffman, 71, of Tecumseh, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka after a lengthy battle with Amyloidosis. He was born January 3, 1952 in Topeka, the son of Harland D. and Donna J. (Eraas) Coffman.

Marty graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Washburn University. He was proud to be one of the founders of his class O.A.M. Club. He was employed by AT&T for 25 years before retiring in 2010.

Marty married Terri Decker on March 4, 1972 in Topeka. They later divorced. He married Carol M. Rindom on August 31, 1985 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Andrew (Courtney) Coffman of Tonganoxie, Kristi (Shane) Carter of Tecumseh, four grandchildren, Evan, Alli, Cole and Alayna, and his two sisters, Dawn (Ed) Southall of Topeka and Carrie Coffman-Jones of Tecumseh.

A Celebration of Marty's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
