Marvel R. Miller

Marvel R. Miller, 27, of Topeka, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. He was born July 18, 1997 in Topeka, the son of Michael L. Miller, Sr. and Felicia M. Brooks.

Marvel graduated from Lawrence Gardner High School. He was of the Catholic Faith and attended Our Lady and Saint Rose Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, De’Angelo Martinez of Kansas City, Kansas, Melay Miller of Kansas City, Kansas, Marsih Miller of Kansas City, Kansas, parents, Michael L. (Jennifer) Miller, Sr. of Topeka, Felicia M. Brooks of Topeka, his maternal grandmother, Maria Ramirez of Topeka, his paternal grandfather, Leon Nevins of Leavenworth, Kansas, his siblings, Terrance, RayNeshia, DeCorey, Mi-Kell, Michael, Jr., DeMichael, Bryson, Michaela, Daija, Raylene, and Darian and a host of nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.

Marvel was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Billy Brooks, Sr. his paternal grandmother, Gigi Peoples, and his uncles, Alonzo Brooks, Le'Andre Nevins and LeTron Wesley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at St. Matthew Catholic Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
