Mary Bellman

Mary Geraldine Bellman, 78, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Lexington Park Nursing Home.

She was born March 22, 1932 in Tecumseh, the daughter of Carl E. and Anna Aye Bellman. She attended Decker, Tecumseh and Williams Schools. Geraldine graduated from Highland Park High School in 1950. After graduation, she was employed by the State of Kansas Department of Revenue for 46 years before retiring in March of 1997. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Beta Sigma Phi Business Sorority. She was preceded in death by her parents and her only sister, Edith, in 1999.She is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private interment will be in Topeka Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Grace United Methodist Church, 2627 SW Western Ave., Topeka, KS 66611 or to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 NW Rochester Rd., Topeka, KS 66617.
