Mary Marguerite Brady
Mary Marguerite Brady, 92, died peacefully in her home in Overland Park, Kansas, Wednesday October 24th 2007. Marguerite was formerly from Topeka where she lived for 56 years. She was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church. Marguerite was born on June 19, 1915 in Emporia, Kansas. She married John Brady on July 22nd , 1944 in Hollywood, California where he was stationed in the Navy. They were married for 42 years, and he precedes her in death. She retired from the personnel department from Saint Francis Hospital in 1977. She then went on to do volunteer work at the American Red Cross. Survivors include: a Son, Craig Brady, and wife Cilla of California; a daughter, Carol Ybarra of Texas; and daughter Cheri Powers and husband Jim of Overland Park Kansas; ten grandchildren and four great grand children. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 2nd, at 2:00 PM at Countryside Church. Her warm heart and giving nature will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Association of the Blind.
