Mary Elizabeth Much, 91, Topeka, died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at her home.
She was born Oct. 4, 1915 in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of James Phillip Tutt, Sr. and Elizabeth Bulfer Tutt. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1936, lived in California from 1941-1945, and returned to Topeka in 1946. She also attended Strickler's Business College.
She was a member of West Side Christian Church, Beulah Chapter #34 O.E.S., Beulah Belles Club, White Shrine #7, Ancient Toltec Rite, and Zonta Club.
She married Raymond L. Much on May 19, 1941 in Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Rae and Todd Miles of Topeka; her grandson, Felix Harris Stroman of Topeka; and a brother-in-law, Virgil O. Much of Topeka.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with Beulah Chapter #34 OES conducting Eastern Star services. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. at Towanda Cemetery, Towanda, KS.
