Mary Lee (Franks) Rumsey, 63, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017.
She was born March 25, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Hayes and JoAnn (Metzger) Franks.
Mary was a 1972 graduate of Seaman High School and had worked in child services for the State of Kansas for many years.
On September 21, 2012, in Topeka, Mary married Rick Rumsey.
Survivors include her husband; children, Sherrie Ingenthron, Dusty Ingenthron, James Robinson, Jr., and Autumn McLaughlin; step-daughter, Jodi Yerta; sister, Janet Brown; grandchildren, James Robinson III, Jaxyn Whitehead and Ian Johnson; and step-grandchildren, Trey and Trevin Yerta.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Mary was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Fairlawn Church of the Nazarene, 730 SW Fairlawn, Topeka, Kansas 66606. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care or the church.
