Topeka, in 1958, he died in 1975. She was employed at the Osawatomie State Hospital as a licensed mental
health technician, and later worked for the Topeka, State Hospital, as a cottage parent in the adolescent care unit,
and retired in 1988 after 35 years of service. She was active in amateur ball room dancing. She was also involved
in the Moose Lodge in Topeka. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association. She was a
member of the Oakland Methodist Church of Topeka.
