Mary Navarrete

Mary F. Navarrete, 58, of Topeka, formerly of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at her home. She was born on August 22, 1948 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Frank and Lydia Gaona Hernandez. She spent most of her life in Kansas City before moving to Topeka in October of 1980. Mary married Eusebio Navarrete, Sr., on March 16, 1974 in Kansas City, MO. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Jackie and wife, Jennifer Navarrete of Topeka, Adriana Navarrete of Kansas City, MO., two sons, Eusebio Navarrete, Jr., of Kansas City, MO., Edwardo Navarrete of Topeka, one grandson, Micheael Bailey of Topeka, two brothers, Leo, (Sharon) Hernandez of Kansas City, MO., Frank T. (Lisa)Hernandez of Shawnee and six sisters, Anette Hernandez of Westwood, Genie (Allen)Sievern, Virginia (Rick) Quiroz, Shirley (Scott) Middaugh, Elizabeth Hernandez and Leticia Hernandez all of Kansas City, MO. and a host of nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Ruben Hernandez in 1985. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel in Topeka. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. following the rosary at the funeral home.
