Mary J. Reives, 96, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Oak Creek Senior Living. She was born June 7, 1921 in Hillsboro, Illinois, the daughter of Samuel E. and Ruth (Richmond) Briggs.
Mary married David C. Reives on January 9, 1950 in Texas. He preceded her in death July, 1998. Mary was also preceded in death by two daughter, Carol and Nancy.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Audrey; four grandchildren, Laura, Marshall, Justin and Michael; and one great-grandchild Benny.
Cremation has taken place and as per Mary's request, no memorial services are planned.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
