Mary Simpson
Mary Ann Simpson, 35, Topeka, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at a local hospital of complications related to cancer.
Mary was born October 28, 1974 in Topeka, the daughter of Ken and Patty Simpson. She graduated from Topeka West High School in 1993 and Kaw Area Vocational Technical School with a certificate in Child Care.
She was a member of Town & Country Christian Church.
Survivors include her parents; brother, Justin (Mary) Simpson, all of Topeka; aunts, Susan Snodgrass, Williamsburg, Trudy Filkins and Cindy Thomas, Topeka; and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter L. Rice, Jr, Vivian Rose Randall Rice, Joseph Lee Simpson, Helen Maxine Bills Simpson; and one aunt, Joanna Kay Harris.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Town & Country Christian Church, 4925 SW 29th street. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Dove Cremation and Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Simpson Memorial Fund, C/o Core First Bank & Trust.
