Mary L Smith, 77, Topeka, died Friday, January 9, 2004 at a Topeka Hospital.
She was born May 8, 1926, in Waco, TX, the daughter of Isiah and Ruby Toliver Brown.
She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Smith; and her son, Elroy Smith.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Lee, Topeka; her step daughter, Glodean McBride, Houston; a grandson, Isaac Lee, Topeka; six sisters; two brothers and six great grandchildren.
Mrs Smith will lie in state during the visitation from 2:30 to 4:30 pm Tuesday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services will take place in Waco, Texas at a later date.
