Melissa May Cheek, 50, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012.
She was born September 11, 1962 in Raleigh, MO the daughter of George and Iva Golden (Sewell) Morstorf.
She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, St. Mary's, KS. She obtained her CDL and was an over the road truck driver for Pacific State Trucks. She also had worked for Casey's General Store in Silver Lake, KS.
She was a member of Williamstown Pentecostal Church of God in Perry, KS.
Melissa married Timothy Paul Cheek on August 11, 1988 in Willard, KS. He survives. Other survivors include her father, George Morstorf, Pontiac, MI; two sisters, Barbara McCracken, Sheryl Debusky and a brother, Stanley David Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her step-father, Charles Cheek, Jr. and a sister, Melanie BiLadeau.
Mrs. Cheek was cremated. A memorial service is pending.
