Melody Wilhelm

Melody Jill (Carver) Wilhelm, 63, went to be with her Lord May 1, 2015. She was born August 7, 1951, in Dresden, ME, daughter of the late Otis L. and Evelyn (LeMar) Carver. She attended school in Dresden and Brunswick Maine.

Besides working many years at Dillons as a Deli Manager, she also owned two restaurants; Taste of Country in Ellinwood, KS and Melody's Cafe in St. John, KS.

Melody was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice (Willy) Wilhelm; both of her parents; brothers Otis Carver Jr. and Bruce Carver; sister Gladys Dorr, nephew Ikey Dorr; and niece Candy Butler. Melody is survived by one son, Steve Moris and his wife Holly and their two sons Blake and Evan of Topeka, KS; one daughter, Debbie (Moris) Lawrence and her husband Jerry and their son Tracy of Nickerson, KS. Surviving siblings include; Ronald Carver and his wife Brenda of Safford, AZ; Teddy Carver and his wife Karen of Eddington, ME; Martha Bracket-Wilson and her husband Mark of Bristol, ME, Pearl McInerney of Port Sharlotte, FL, Mary Herter and her husband Howard of Ellinwood, KS; Doreen Twist of Bristol, PA; Donna Chamberland and her husband Gerard of Lewiston, ME; and sister-in-law Nancy Mitchell and her husband Bob of Milberger, KS. Melody had numerous nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

Melody will be cremated and her ashes will be spread on the rocky shore in front Pemaquid Point lighthouse in Maine at a future date. No local services are planned. To leave a special message for the family, visit the guestbook below.
