Mervin Falor, 87, Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020 at a local care center.
Mervin was born October 24, 1932 in Manton, MI, the son of John and Eunice (Salisbury) Falor. He attended Cadillac High School and graduated from Donsbach University in California.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954.
He was employed as a Machine repairman at General Motors in
Kalamazoo, MI. for over 26 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Iglesia Adventista Del Deptimo Dia Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Mervin married Wilma Sykes on September 17, 1976 in Otsego, MI. She survives. Other survivors include sons, Brian (Trish) Falor, Barry Falor, Brent (Tammy) Falor, Matt (Leslie) Falor; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Falor; and 9 siblings.
Mervin has donated his body to the University of Kansas Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., central time, on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Iglesia Adventista Del Septimo (Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church), 1601 NE Seward Ave, Topeka. The service will be live streamed (under Facebook of Wilma Falor) but anyone wanting to attend is welcome.
