Mescal L. "Mickie" Bruggen, 84, Topeka, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Aldersgate Village.
Mescal was born December 6, 1931 in Marfrance, WV.
She was employed as a Restaurant manager at several establishments in the Topeka area.
Survivors include children, Ginger Martinek, Kansas City, Kathy Bomberger (deceased), Bill Copen, Topeka, Rebecca Sink, Oklahoma, and Lise Ullery, Topeka; 10 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the chapel from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2016.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
