Michael E. Barney, 55, of Topeka, passed away on Feb.5, 2004 at his residence. He was born on December 2, 1948 in Parsons, KS the son of Edward and Betty Sharp Barney.
On Feb. 12, 1999 he was married to Andrea Myers, she survives. Michael and Andrea are the owners of the Topeka Sewing Center in Holliday Square.
He survived by his wife, Andrea, of Topeka; 1 Son: Rogers Barney of St. Joseph, MO; 1 Sister: Pamela Garland of Maryland; 4 Brothers: Gregory and Brian of Topeka, KS; Phillip of Olathe, KS and Martin Barney of Oregon . He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 Sister, Debora Roman of Florida who passed away on May 5, 2003.
Memorial services will be held on Wed. Feb 11, at 11:00am at the Topeka Sewing Center at 2917 A SW Topeka, Blvd. in the Holliday Square.
