Michael Thomas Bentley

Michael Thomas Bentley, age 61, of Topeka, passed away November 18, 2016. He was born March 18, 1955 to Thomas Bowden and Maxine Ruby (Ward) Bentley at Syracuse, New York. The family moved to Topeka, Kansas in 1966 and lost their home in the June 8, 1966 tornado. They relocated to Carbondale, Kansas. Michael graduated from Santa Fe Trails High School in 1974. He entered the US Navy in 1975, served at the Great Lakes training center and was honorably discharged.
Michael was employed by Brewster Place and Presbyterian Manor as a floor maintenance technician. He enjoyed stamp collecting and plastic model building.
Michael is survived by his three brothers: David A. Bentley of Kuwait, his twin Frank R. Bentley of Topeka, and Geoffrey W. Bentley of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Inurnment will be in Carbondale Cemetery at a later date.
