Michael E. Pellegrini, 55, of Topeka, died Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born December 5, 1959, in Huntington, West Virginia, the son of Adolfo and Doris (Carlock) Pellegrini. Michael was raised in Topeka and graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1978.
Michael is survived by his parents, Adolfo and Doris of Topeka, KS; siblings, Linda Pellegrini Bolis, Pennington, NJ, Sandra Pellegrini, Topeka, KS and Robert Pellegrini of Senigallia, Italy; niece, Nadia Bolis and nephews, Daniel Bolis and Joseph Hawker.
Michael loved dogs, building model trains, restoring his 1969 Dodge Charger, and building award-winning Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Michael was cremated. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4th at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 3601 SW 17th Street in Topeka. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society (www.hhhstopeka.org).
