Michael D. Lacock

Michael D. Lacock, 69, of St. Marys, Kansas passed away February 26, 2017. He was born on January 18, 1948 to Frank and Agnes (Carlson) Lacock in Wamego, Kansas. He attended grade school in St Marys and Wamego then his family moved to live in Idaho. After moving back to Kansas, Michael graduated from St. Marys high school in 1966. He attended Emporia State University and Kansas University. He served in the National Guard.

Michael married Patsy Allen on May 8, 1976 Wells Creek Church at Belvue, Kansas. They divorced however remained the best of friends.

He loved the outdoors and fishing. He was an avid reader and liked to watch televised sports of all kinds especially the Royals and Chiefs, college basketball and college football games. He was a very loyal fan of K State Wildcats and St Marys Bears. He was a member of the St Marys Bears undefeated state football team of 1965.

Michael will be missed by all his relatives and his many friends he made though years of living in Topeka and St Marys area.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Oregon Trail Nature Park at 1:00 p.m.
