Michael J. Underwood, 56, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018.
He was born May 5, 1962, in Monroe, North Carolina, the son of Harry Stacy and Peggy Sue (Sims) Underwood.
Survivors include his mother, Peggy S. Underwood, Topeka; his brother, William Underwood, Norfolk, VA; his sister, Bonnie LePage, Topeka; five nieces and four nephews; and his canine companion, Katy.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, is assisting the family.
