Michael Urban
Michael Urban, 65, Topeka, passed away at his home June 20, 2011. He was born Aug. 27, 1945 to Alfred G. and Mary C. (Richmond) Urban in Topeka. He graduated from Highland Park High School and attended Washburn University for 2 years. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 20 years retiring in 1986. He served in Viet Nam and was also stationed in Italy and Japan.
He married Christine M. Redman on May 13, 2000. She survives. He is also survived by 2 children; 2 sisters, Kathy Sommers, and Lori Arbaiza, 1 brother, Dan Urban, all of Topeka; 7 nieces and nephews, and 1 adopted niece, Zuri Bartlett.
A private service will be held June 25, 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Hospice, 3715 SW 29th St. Ste.100, Topeka, KS 66614.
