Michael H. Wilson, 61, of Carbondale, KS, died Monday, November 8, 2010 at St. Francis Health Center. He was born May, 15, 1949 in Benton Harbor, MI, the son of Harold and Pearl (Carr) Wilson.
Michael was a Graduate of Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from UMKC. At his time of death, he was a civil engineer for the Federal Aviation Administration. He retired from the State of Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks as Chief Engineer in 2008, and he previously spent twenty years as an engineer for the City of Kansas City, MO.
He married Rochelle Renee (Mundy) Wilson on October 22, 2005 in Carbondale, KS. She survives. He is also survived by two daughters; Danielle and Samantha, of the home; and one son, Jamal Wilson, Texas. Besides his family, Michael especially enjoyed fishing, bowling, and traveling.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
