Micheal L. "Mike" Mulford, 64, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He was born July 15, 1959 in Topeka, the son of Donald and Virginia (Wangerin) Mulford.
Mike graduated from Shawnee Heights High School. He served as a Deputy Sheriff for Shawnee County for over 20 years before retiring. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a member of ABATE.
Mike married his children's mother, Karen S. Hawkins. They later divorced.
Survivors include two children, Grant (Taylor) Mulford of Topeka, Lacey (Shawn) Doiron of Topeka, two grandchildren, Brycen and Lillyana, and his siblings, Gerald E. Mulford of Topeka and Kevin D. Mulford of Topeka.
The family will receive friends to celebrate Mike's Life from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
