Miguel Farias, Sr.

Miguel "Angel" Farias, Sr., 64, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at a Topeka hospital. He was born September 1, 1954 in Romita GTO, Mexico, the son of Salvador and Eloisa (Rodriguez) Farias.
Miguel was an Army Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was employed by The Villages, Inc.
Miguel married Patricia Valdivia on May 4, 1974 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include one son; Miguel (Heather) Farias, Jr. of Topeka, one daughter; Angelina (Jamie Sigman) Farias of Topeka, nine grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, four sisters; Sylvia, Guadalupe, Eloisa and Christina and three brothers; Salvador, Roger and Roberto.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Miguel will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the funeral home.
